How cool would it be to have a group of trusted people, helping you network your blog posts? This is exactly what Triberr does. Thanks to the founders, Dino Dogan and Dan Cristo, every time you publish a new blog post, everyone in your Triberr Tribe will tweet it on Twitter to their followers, and vice versa. Triberr is pretty simple to set up and after that, it automatically re-tweets the posts for you so you don’t have to.
There are a couple other sites that offer
similar services but they charge money. Triberr is thankfully free. The only catch? You have to be invited by a
Triberr Chief to join the site. This helps keep
So how do you get in, on this helpful time saver? The easiest way is to know someone who is already involved with Triberr, and who has a spot for you on their team.
(If you don’t know anyone, don’t worry, keep reading)
Another way is to browse the list of tribes and request to join by ‘making your case’. The chief will then review your Twitter profile and blog before making their decision.
If they don’t choose you, don’t be upset. It just might be because your blog doesn’t have anything in common with theirs, or maybe you don’t have enough followers to network to.
After you become a member, you can invite whoever you want to join your tribe. Each tribe can have 7 members, so that’s why you’re given three tribes to start with! I would suggest looking for people with a high amount of loyal followers. The more followers, the more people you’re networking to.
Thanks Dan & Dino!~
Watch out though, if you aren’t careful who you invite you could be tweeting out links that your followers might consider spam. You want to make sure to invite people who are real and who post things that your readers and followers might be interested in. The whole goal is to get new followers and they trust what you tweet.
Are you interested in checking Triberr out? I have a few spots available in my tribe and am looking for people to network with who might blog about either Parenting, Photography, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Social Media.
