Hurricane Irene

First of all, let me say, that in Maine, we were very lucky with hurricane Irene because by the time it reached us, it was mostly windy and rainy. I am praying for those dealing with flooding and power outages, hoping they get things worked out soon.
During the storm we had, I spent the day driving around to the beaches and taking pictures. Something I look forward to doing every time it floods or something happens. My friends call me now and ask if I’ll be going out and if they can come. It’s sort of a tradition.

 Sunday, It was really windy out, and the waves were crazy.
